Automatic Grey Water transfer System

for Caravans, RV’s and Campervans

The Great Debate

Unlike your WC (toilet) waste, which is full of nasty bacteria and pathogens, and contained in a separate tank of small literage, your Grey water can be large volumes (depending on fresh water carried in your holding tank/s).

If required by your host or site requirements, a long stay camp can turn to black water containing bad bacteria, which is not good for your health or the environment

What's the Answer?

We have found through consultation with land owners, our own extensive trials and talking to you the owners of the “Get away vehicles”, the most effective way to solve the issue is immediate grey water transfer.

In the case of Off Grid, we use the grey water to irrigate, meaning, rather relying on storing or gravity to control the discharge point.

We use a pumping system that allows you control of where your immediate grey water discharge goes by using a lawn sprinkler on the end of the discharge hose and moving it about during your stay. Thus solving the problems of Black water, water way contamination, soil erosion or ponding.

What we do with Grey Water when off Grid Camping?

How does it work?

By providing a storage chamber with inbuilt design features, “The Well”
Installing a 12-volt automatic submersible pump inside the well, “The Pump”.

We create…. “The Pump Well”.

We also simplify the water hose transfer system so it’s easy to manage and store.

Advantages of The Pump Well

over storage / gravity drain systems

No Storing Grey Waste

In off grid camping TPW disposes of Grey water by Irrigation immediately rather than storing

Can Lift 4 metres high

TPW can lift 4 metres high and pump as far as you like

Built in Strainer

Captures food scraps (simply drain left over fluid through the lower drain point)

19mm Garden Hose

Because we pump - small diameter hose, gravity - large diameter to allow for flow, means you can use the hose in reverse for cleaning

Never flood Caravan / RV

We'll guarantee you will never flood from a blocked / low flow drain hose at peak use. *

Convert to Gravity Drain

By swapping the TPW drain hose from the top pump out connector to the lower drain point, you now have a gravity drain system with scrap catcher.

Isolating Tap

When your TPW is discharging above, you can stop the drain water from spilling out.

Connect both ends

Use the click Joiner to connect both ends together, ready to transport with no spillage

* Fixture average holding / discharge: Sink 40lt gravity, Shower 38lt/min. gravity, Washing machine 35lt/min. pumped, Basin 38lt/min. gravity

Other Pump Well Applications

“The Pump Well” can also be used for any amount of other applications with your get away home, Caravan Parks.

No more issues with non-draining and blocking gravity waste hoses. Our pump can lift the grey water 3.00 metres above “The Pump Wells” position and as far as the 19mm garden hoses you need to carry.

When moving from a site where you’ve had to hold your now black water and need to discharge this into a compliant road-side dump point, the problem normally is the dump point is higher than the outlet of your tank, park out of the way of other people accessing the dump point and let “the Pump well” empty the trank for you.

Reviews From Customers

We’ve just returned from a 10 week trip to South Australia in our Off Road Caravan, we were given a Pump Well to put through its paces on our trip and used it in many varying situations and found it to be a handy addition to our vans existing grey water tank system.

Two examples spring to mind, one was at a caravan park at Tathra on our way South, the discharge point for our van site was approximately 8.00mts away and uphill about a meter which using the tank with a 40mm gravity hose we normally carry would have been to short and would not of discharged the grey water being above the van outlet so we would have had to just dump it into the bush (not environmentally good as other campers were very close) but having TPW with back flow valve and 12.00 mts of garden hose with weighted end we achieved a good outcome for the 5 days, the second instance was a Hip Camp (Off Grid) location in the Barossa Valley that we stayed at for a week, we were camped next to a gorgeous little creek that you got to by going down a bank about 2.00 mts high, the problem with the old system was we only had 90 liters of grey water storage and 180 liters of useable fresh water.

In the old days we would have stored 90 litres of Grey Water that would have gone Black by the time we disposed of it properly and then captured the rest in a cut down 20 liter drum and carried it away from the creek and dumped it in the bush, always a messy business.

But we had the TPW, so hooked it up, ran the 12.00 meters of hose up the hill into the paddock connected a spray head on the end and just moved it around for the period of our stay, the fella who owned the property said he was great full to see folk who cared about the way they conduct themselves and respect the land they were staying on.

So all up we’d give the system the thumbs up and are glad to travel knowing we have added advantage of TPW make our caravan journeys a bit easier
